During peak season Calangute takes a Euro look because of huge foreign tourist in hotel, bar, market or in the beach. It happens only because of the huge commercialization of the Calangute Beach. Indian people make fun that young guys can discover themselves in Europe if they go to Calangute at this time. Baga Beach

 Baga Beach is north to the famous Calangute Beach and it is so close that someone may consider it as the northern part of the Calangute Beach. In fact tourist stays in Calangute city and from there they drive to Baga and Candolim. Baga Beach is famous for it's unspoiled natural beauty and The Baga River flowing one side of the beach. If you want to get relief from the crowd of the Calangute Beach, then visit Baga Beach.

Anjuna beach

Anjuna Beach is Goa's hottest and most celebrated beach. The rave culture of Anjuna has made it most popular among the western tourist. Goa trans music, the acid house parties, the red hued shore, the white sandy beach with rocky terrain connecting the beach and sea, the sawing palm groves all these have made Anjuna Beach a world class holiday destination for the tourist from all over the world. The beach was discovered by the hippies some time in the 60’s.

Miramar

Miramar Beach

Miramar is the urban beach and is the closest to the Panaji city. The soft white sandy beach with palm fringe on the back side is the number one attraction of Panaji. This beach is also known as Gasper Diaz. The estuary of the Mandovi River is a fish eye view from here. Though there is no water sports facility but it is the beach where one can swim safely following the guidelines for swimming. The mobile beach shacks selling hot chats are one of the great attractions of this beach. There are few good hotels close the beach where privacy is provided for sun bath.

Dona Paula

Dona Paula Bay

Dona Paula is 7 km away from Goan capital Panaji and it is better to call it as view point of the estuaries of the river Mandovi and the Zuari then to tell as sea beach. The picturescue view of the Murmagao Harbour and the Dona Paula bay is really beautiful to remember for ever. The view point is on a rocky small head land in the water dividing the estuaries of the Zuari and the Mandovi and this view point is connected with the main land by bridge.
