Varkala is a small town near Thiruvanantpuram which is best known for its beaches having unspoiled natural beauty. The two kilometer long beach is basically red cliff with coconut palm trees surrounding it. The cliff steeps down to the Arabian Sea forming the golden sandy beach. The scenic beauty is mesmerizing. The main attraction of Verkala Beach is the solitude. This is the beach to enjoy the beauty of the sea and sand but this is not a beach where sun bathing is practiced. When you visit Varkala Beach don't   miss the sunset.

Marari Beach

Marari Beach is another pristine beach of Kerala which is licated 60 km south of Kochi  the main business city of Kerala. It is a long sandy beach which is backed by palm fringe and fishing village Mararikulam. While visiting this beach you can feel the hard life of costal people of Kerala. Marari Beach is safe for swimming, surfing, parasailing and other water activities and fun.

 

Kozhikode Beaches

Kozhikode is located by the Lakshadweep Sea and has few beautiful beaches having unspoilt natural beauty. People who are looking for solitude, should visit the tranquil beaches of  Kozhikode to rejuvenate themselves. Kozhikode Beach is a suburb beach where people folk to refresh themselves in the evening. Kappad, Beypore and Payyoli beaches are other beaches which are little away from the city and  could be perfect holiday destinations.
