Safety Note: 
Swimming is not advised at Kudle but other beaches of Gokarna are safe for swimming but it must be away from the rocky terrain. There are no lifeguards at the beaches. Local culture fairly accepts beachwears.
Where it is: 
Gokarna is 240 km north of Mangaluru and 468 km north west of state capital Bangaluru.
Journey Route: 
If you start from Mangaluru by bus, it is 5 hrs drive. But most of the indian tourist arrive here via Panaji, in that case it is 4 hrs drive. Madangeri is the railhead. Mangaluru and Dabolim are the nearest airport.

Kudle Beach

Gokarna is a famous beach belt on the coast of the Arabian Sea. This is the best beach area of the Indian state of Karnataka. Located nearly 465 km north west of the state capital Bangaluru and 55 km south east of Karwar, Gokarna has four beautiful beaches named Kudle Beach, OM Beach, Half Moon Beach and Paradise beach. If you walk 20 to 30 minute then you can reach from one beach to next beach. People visit Gokarna to enjoy the solitude and panorama of these picturesque beaches. This is a holy place of India, where huge people visit every year to get liberated of sins.
