Miramar Beach

Miramar is the urban beach and is the closest to the Panaji city. The soft white sandy beach with palm fringe on the back side is the number one attraction of Panaji. This beach is also known as Gasper Diaz. The estuary of the Mandovi River is a fish eye view from here. Though there is no water sports facility but it is the beach where one can swim safely following the guidelines for swimming. The mobile beach shacks selling hot chats are one of the great attractions of this beach. There are few good hotels close the beach where privacy is provided for sun bath. During the summer huge people are seen to enjoy the cool breeze of the Arabian Sea after the dusk.
