Palolem Beach

Palolem is the south most crescent shape, white sandy beach of South Goa. The swaying palms and the blue hue of the sea between two rocky headlands of the Western Ghat range offers a picturesque view which is much expected to the travelers. This beach has moderate crowds and water activities.
There are few beach resorts, beach huts, beach shacks and bars in Palolem Beach. If you stay in the beach huts you will feel that you are just living in the atmosphere of a fishing village on the edge of the sea. Hear the sound of the sea while you are in the bed. Try the sea foods in the beach shacks. Despite of the amenities required for tourism this beach still has a village like charm. It is safe to swim in Palolem Beach, but be careful to follow the swimming guideline.
While in Palolem, you can make an excursion to Patnem-Colomb Beach which is few minutes walk from Palolem. There is tiny cove at Colomb and Patnem has a secluded, virgin beach. Going there with drinks and food, staying whole day over there and back to Palolem in the afternoon may be a good travel option. Dolphin spotting trip and snorkeling are also good watering activities in Palolem.
