Vizag Beaches

Vizag or Visakhapatnm is a port city on the eastern coast of India and is famous for its natural harbour as well as a number of beautiful beaches lying along 28 km long stretch by the Bay of Bengal.  Ramkrishna Beach, Rushikonda Beach, Bheemunipatnam also called Bheemli Beach are the three famous beaches of Andhra Pradesh located at Vizag belt. The topography of Vizag is so beautiful which you will find in very few places of the world. Surrounded by hill ranges from three sides and the remaining side is by sea what a picturesque city to spend holiday.  The famous Beach Road of Vizag that runs along the coast connects the harbour, the port, and the beaches. Most of the tourist amenities of Vizag are located along this road. Ramkrishna Beach is the suburb beach which is full of crowds in the evening. People come here to relax and cool themselves in the evening. The deep blue harbour, the splashing waves, the cool sea breeze all these give the tourist a nice feel of relax. Tourists who are looking for fewer crowds should move further north to reach Rushikonda Beach. This is a pretty beach having less crowd and ready to satisfy the solitude loving people.  Bheemli Beach is further north of Rushikonda and is nearly 25 km north of Vizag. It is located at the estuary of the Gosthani River. The swaying palms, the pristine golden beach and the untouched natural beauty of the shore and the fishing village Bheemli are the treasures of Bheemli Beach. There is no good restaurant or stay option near Bheemli Beach. So pack your snack and water before you start from Vizag.
